This illustration was 20 years in the making. I’ve written on here before about being inspired by eBoy and how my artistic journey started with their landscape illustrations. Chicago Compilation brings that journey full circle. While not an exact style match, I believe I have finally been able to encapsulate the spirit of their illustrations with this artwork.

To be clear, I made this artwork for me. Presently, I don’t have any intentions to make prints. I started the drawing in 2022 and spent nearly two months completing it on Illustrator. It is called Chicago Compilation because it takes elements from my other illustrations plus a lot of new elements. The idea was to make it much more offbeat and eccentric than my other prints.
